Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I get to Kingston self catering accommodation in Orkney?
A:
From St Magnus Cathedral, follow Broad Street southwards and as it curves to the left, turn
right so that you keep going straight on. Pass the Royal Bank of Scotland and you will head into
Victoria Street. Continue along Victoria Street until just before the Red Cross Shop. Turn left
and you will enter Kingston Apartment 1's courtyard, turn left again and you will see the front
door. For Kingston Apartment 2 follow the same directions into the courtyard. However, then
climb the stairs and turn left. For Kingston Lodge, go past the Red Cross shop and turn left.
Follow Victoria Road, a one lane road that goes uphill and the Lodge is at the end of the first
group of houses. For Kingston House, follow Victoria Road until you pass the first bank of
houses - and you will see the entrance to the Kingston House courtyard on the left.
